Death
Francis Bacon died on April 9, 1626. He died in London, England. He died from doing his very last experiment. He thought that snow might preserve skin. To test this, he collected snow and stuffed a chicken with it. As a result, he caught a cold and died. His final words were that his experiment was a success.
