Francis bacon grew up in London, England. He went to Trinity College, Cambridge when he was only 12 years old in 1573.There he achieved a notable academic record and became known for criticizing the logic and science of his teachers. In 1575, he went to law school at Gray's Inn. He had to go to Paris for 2 and a half years to be a member of the staff for the English ambassador, Sir Amias Paulet. His dad died in 1579, so he had almost no money. He borrowed money to finish school.
